ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Installation:

- Install and commission new air conditioning and refrigeration units within the hotel.

- Connect systems to water and power supply lines, air ducts, and other necessary components.

Maintenance:

- Perform regular preventive maintenance on all AC and refrigeration units, including cleaning, lubricating, and tuning.

- Inspect systems and components to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.

Repair:

- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in air conditioning and refrigeration systems efficiently and effectively.

- Replace defective parts and components as needed.

- Test repaired systems for proper functionality and performance.

System Upgrades:

- Recommend and implement system upgrades to enhance energy efficiency and performance.

- Install and configure advanced control systems, such as smart thermostats.

Compliance:

- Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.

- Handle refrigerants in accordance with environmental laws and hotel policies.

Customer Service:

- Interact with guests and staff to address and resolve any issues related to air conditioning and refrigeration.

- Provide clear explanations and updates on repair and maintenance activities.

Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent.

- Complete necessary documentation for billing and regulatory compliance

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and components.

- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.

- Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.

High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational training or certification in HVAC or refrigeration technology.

Familiarity with HVAC and refrigeration diagnostic tools and software; Ability to use specialized software for system calibration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
