The Junior Accounts Assistant will support daily accounting operations, payroll processing support, and basic statutory compliance tasks. The role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while working with modern cloud-based finance systems.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping : Record purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries in accounting software.
Bank Reconciliation : Perform periodic reconciliations of bank and cash accounts.
Vendor & Customer Support : Assist in managing ledgers, follow-up for invoices, payment status, and reconciliations.
Payroll Assistance : Support payroll calculation and employee reimbursement management.
Compliance Support : Assist in GST data preparation, TDS workings, and filing documentation.
Reporting : Prepare basic reports such as ledgers, ageing reports, and summaries.
Internal Coordination : Work with senior accountants and clients to collect required information and documentation.
Required Skills
Technical Skills : Basic accounting knowledge, MS Excel (preferred: VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Filters).
Software : Experience with any accounting software; Zoho Books experience is an added advantage.
Compliance Awareness: Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and payroll statutory requirements.
Soft Skills : Good communication skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn, time management.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
