The Role

As a Founding Account Executive , you’ll own the entire sales cycle, from pipeline generation to close , helping business owners and executives transform how they pay and motivate their teams. This isn’t a plug-and-play sales seat. You’ll work directly with the founding team, craft playbooks, experiment with messaging, and help design a scalable, repeatable revenue engine from the ground up.


What You’ll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting to demo to close, managing a robust pipeline with discipline and precision.
  • Drive new business: identify and engage home service companies through outbound, inbound, partner, and event channels.
  • Act as a consultant: deeply understand customer pain points and map Sequifi’s platform to operational and financial outcomes.
  • Deliver compelling demos: clearly articulate ROI and value to business owners, CFOs, and sales leaders.
  • Negotiate & close: work with decision-makers to align pricing, contracts, and implementation timelines.
  • Shape the GTM playbook: contribute directly to messaging, processes, and systems that will scale our sales org.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to improve conversion and onboarding.


What We’re Looking For
  • 3–6+ years of SaaS sales experience with consistent top-performance against quota.
  • Experience selling to SMB or mid-market segments, ideally in payroll, fintech, or field service SaaS.
  • A builder’s mindset, you thrive in ambiguity, take initiative, and iterate quickly.
  • Excellent discovery, storytelling, and closing skills; able to connect with owner-operators and executive teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deals, forecast accurately, and use CRM data effectively.
  • Bonus: familiarity with home service industries or experience selling operational software.
