Job Summary
As an Account Executive at Pacific Rim Capital Inc., you will be responsible for generating new business with large enterprises who require leasing or financing to support sourcing needs, or may benefit by considering a lease or finance solution for their sourcing needs.
Your success will hinge on a proactive mindset, tenacity under pressure, and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences. A self-starter attitude, strong phone skills, and comfort with outbound cold calling are essential to success in this role.
Account Executives are based in our Irvine, CA corporate office. Office/Home Remote Schedule is an earned option after the initial training period of 6 months. Travel is minimal and weekend work non-existent. Account Executives earn a base salary along with an uncapped commission plan. PRC’s top account executives earn over $700k annually.
Key Responsibilities
Generate New Business: Proactively identify, qualify, and engage enterprise-level leads to expand PRC’s customer base.
Outbound Prospecting & Cold-Calling: Identify and Initiate contact with key decision-makers, effectively communicate PRC’s value, and schedule discovery meetings. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy, outbound sales environment. During the first year, the primary focus will be heavy on cold calling—day in and day out. You’ll be expected and must be comfortable spending the majority of your time on the phone, reaching out to new prospects, initiating conversations, and building a pipeline from scratch. Success in this position requires persistence, resilience, and a strong drive to connect with potential clients through consistent outreach.
Consultative Selling: Assess client needs, align leasing solutions with strategic objectives, and propose tailored financing packages.
Navigate Complex Sales Cycles: Manage multi-stakeholder relationships, including C-suite executives, finance teams, and procurement departments, to secure approval.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate trust and rapport with prospective and (if assigned) existing accounts to drive revenue growth and maximize client satisfaction.
Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain accurate sales pipeline data, track milestones, and ensure timely follow-up to meet or exceed targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including credit, underwriting, and operations—to facilitate smooth onboarding and long-term client success.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer requirements to refine sales strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree: Must have a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: 3 years equipment leasing or financing experience is required. This experience can be with material handling equipment assets, information technology assets, over the road assets or large ticket financing.
Enterprise Sales Experience Highly Preferred: Proven success in selling complex solutions to large organizations with multi-tiered approval processes.
A candidate’s ability to bring customer relationships with investment grade credit organizations with them will be considered when determining the base salary.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent phone presence, presentation abilities, and the capacity to articulate financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Self-Starter Mindset: Demonstrates initiative and independence in prospecting, lead generation, and handling the full sales cycle.
Consultative Approach: Adept at discovering needs, framing solutions, and guiding decision-makers through an extended sales process.
Resilience & Adaptability: Maintains focus under pressure, overcomes objections, and pivots when necessary to close deals.
Track Record of Success: History of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and a results-driven attitude.
Analytical & Organized: Competent with CRM tools, pipeline management, and the ability to forecast accurately.
Team Player: Open to coaching, feedback, and collaboration, working cohesively with cross-functional teams.
