Account Manager

Position Details

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Finance Controller to oversee inventory controls, financial reporting, and compliance within our manufacturing operations.
This role requires strong expertise in accounting, cost control, inventory management, and statutory compliance, along with leadership skills to guide the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual internal audit statements as per GAAP.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Conduct variance analysis and share actionable insights.
• Track and report key KPIs to support performance improvements.

Cost Accounting & Inventory Control

• Implement and manage standard costing for materials, labor, and overheads.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare variance reports.
• Supervise inventory counts, reconciliations, and valuations.
• Drive initiatives to improve inventory turnover and reduce obsolescence.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies, and statutory compliance requirements.

SAP & Systems

• Maintain financial records in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally-ERP 9, etc.).
• Drive automation and digitalization of finance workflows.

Leadership & Business Support

• Partner with plant management to enhance operational and financial performance.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to deliver high-quality results.
• Support cost-reduction and productivity initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / ICWA / CMA / CA
• Experience: 818 years in manufacturing finance, with at least 10 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, plant finance, and manufacturing operations.
• Expertise in Indian audit processes, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
