Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage the financial operations of our marketing agency. The ideal candidate will not only handle daily bookkeeping and ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations but also provide actionable financial insights that support strategic decision-making, risk management, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

•     Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.

•     Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and client/vendor accounts.

•     Manage payroll records and staff expense reimbursements.

•     Oversee month-end and year-end financial closings.

2. Taxation & Compliance

•     Prepare, file, and manage UAE and Saudi Corporate Tax submissions in compliance with FTA requirements.

•     Stay current on UAE and Saudi tax laws, VAT regulations, and compliance updates.

•     Maintain documentation and records for audits and tax assessments.

3. Financial Analysis & Reporting

•     Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

•     Provide insights on profitability, cost control, and cash management.

•     Identify business risks and growth opportunities through data-driven analysis.

•     Support management with budget forecasting and financial planning.

4. Strategic Support

•     Collaborate with management on pricing, project profitability, and client ROI analysis.

•     Recommend improvements to financial processes for efficiency and transparency.

•     Participate in quarterly business reviews to share insights on performance and growth drivers.

Qualifications & Skills:

•     Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

•     Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within an agency or service-based business.

•     Strong understanding of UAE and Saudi Corporate Tax and VAT compliance.

•     Proficiency in accounting software (Tally).

•     Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

•     High attention to detail and integrity in handling financial data.

•     Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
