1.Financial Management & Reporting:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger, journals, and financial statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
2. Budgeting & Analysis:
- Support in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget deviations
- Offer insights and suggestions to optimize costs and improve efficiency
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue payments
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate posting of transactions
4. Tax & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including filing returns and maintaining accurate tax records
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist in audit preparation
- Maintain financial records in accordance with local regulatory and internal policy standards
5. Systems & Software:
- Utilize accounting software to manage records and generate reports
- Ensure data integrity across finance systems
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities where possible
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or ACCA preferred)
- 1 2 years of relevant accounting experience (graduates are welcome)
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT laws, and reporting standards
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
