Job Title: Accountant

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Oversee monthly and yearly financial closings and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings.
• Monitor budgets and provide insights on cost control and financial planning.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.
• Assist in payroll processing and employee expense management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA qualification is a plus).
• Proven experience as an accountant (minimum 1 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in India.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
