The position is for the joint venture between Bahra Electric and Schréder. The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.


Main Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Manage all new entity related transactions in cooperation with the current team and he will be the focal point of any details needed for the new entity
  • Manage all business requirements and reports
  • New entity monthly financial closing and quarterly hard closing incorporating all relevant adjustments, comparison, and variance analysis


Detailed Job Description:

  • Arrange and execute month closing process, procedures and check list
  • Manage Monthly depreciation run and compare sub-Ledger with General ledger and manage all related issues , Along with Fixed asset capitalization from CWIP and any other related tasks
  • Confirm that all period-related entries have been correctly transmitted to the respective period
  • Maintain, check and confirm all daily entries have been recorded correctly and make any needed adjustments - Daily
  • Oversee, check and confirm reconciliation of accounts have been done correctly and take the needed actions to settle any raised matter - monthly
  • Reconcile the Sales report with the Finance related GL
  • Generate Sales-Related Reports - By Customer - By Business Type - By Region, if Relevant.
  • Manage AR / AP Ageing Report as well as all related adjustments required to clarify any required transaction - Settlement-Advanced to be managed.
  • Match Inventory with Finance GL
  • Oversee inventory transactions and follow up with concerned colleagues to make sure all transactions done in compliance with finance management policy and requirements
  • Evaluate & Reevaluate inventory and analyze overstock, non moving, obsolete and missing items and report the situation with suggestions to optimize inventory cost
  • Analyse TB RELATED GLs and explain variances from prior periods
  • Deal and cooperate with auditors and legal bodies for any related requirements (VAT, Zakat, Samples, Audits, and Reporting Requirements , etc.)
  • Reconcile Prepaid, Accruals and provisions with all related documents agreements , needs and assure all expenses has been posted monthly
  • Assure that all Group reconciliation has been completed (current account, AR, AP, Investment, Capital ) on monthly base without any differences
  • Assure that all affiliated reconciliation has been completed (current account, AR, AP, loans if any ) on Monthly base without any differences
  • Assure that all Bank reconciliation has been completed on Daily base without any differences
  • Manage slow movement items report on monthly base with related incharge team and get clarification
  • Manage with AR team Aging report along with Collection Plan on monthly base
  • Manage with AP team Aging report along with Payment Plan on monthly base
  • Manage Cash at bank related reports
  • Booking various Sadad payments
  • Booking all cash salary payments
  • Booking LG / LC related documentation , journals , charges and related process, manage and control LC collection
  • Master Data update only credit customers
  • Other related assignments


Qualifications and skills:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or relevant field; MBA, CMA, CA will be preferable

Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience
