Key responsibilities involve creating budgets and forecasts, performing audits, reconciling accounts, processing transactions, and providing financial advice to management to aid in decision-making. Core responsibilities

  • Financial record-keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, monitor spending, and recommend financial actions.
  • Compliance and auditing: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and conduct internal audits to evaluate financial health and identify risks.
  • Tax preparation: Prepare and file tax returns and provide tax planning services.
  • Financial analysis and advice: Analyze financial data to assess efficiency and profitability, and provide strategic advice to management based on findings.
  • Account reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
