Job Description

As an Accountant, you will manage a wide range of financial transactions and play a key role in supporting the finance department with daily accounting tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and data entry
• Process financial transactions and prepare journal entries
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records
• Collaborate with other departments for budget tracking and expense control

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience as an Accountant
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy when handling large volumes of data
• Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates with previous accounting experience are strongly preferred
• Preferred Nationalities: Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon
