At IKA Works Turkey , we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant who will take responsibility for our financial processes and contribute to the efficiency of our accounting operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities

·  Manage all accounting transactions of IKA Works Turkey

·       Check, verify and post incoming invoices and categorize records in SAP

·        Administrate travel and other expenses

·        Prepare payments and reconcile bank statements

·        Handle dunning procedure (checking incoming payments, contacting customers for overdue payments and generate payment reminders)

·        Perform all necessary account and intercompany reconciliations

·        Handle month-end and year-end closures and provide timely financial reports like P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reports

·        Preparing the annual Budget Reporting in collaboration with Managing Director

·        Compute taxes and prepare tax returns (e.g. VAT) - optional

·        Close contact with local tax advisors and other business partners

Qualifications:

·        Work experience as an Accountant (Industry)

·        Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

·        MS Excel skills

·        Optional: Experience with accounting software SAP-FI optional

·        Strong attention to detail and good organizational and analytical skills

·         Confidentiality and integrity

·        Very good English skills
