Position: Accountant

Location: Wasl Port Views, Al Mina, Dubai, UAE

Working Days: 6 days per week

Working Hours: 9 hours per day

Salary: AED 5,000 per month

My client is a premier aquascaping and aquarium lifestyle brand. They specialize in high-end underwater landscapes, offering premium aquatic plants, fish, and professional aquascaping services. There are known for its artistic approach to aquariums, merging nature, design, and craftsmanship to create living art pieces.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
• Maintain and update financial records in accounting software.
• Prepare sales, purchase, and expense entries and reconcile accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Track petty cash, daily store expenses, vendor invoices, and receipts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and summaries.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and relevant UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with the external auditor and support in audit submissions.
• Assist management with budget tracking and basic cost analysis.
• Support general administrative and inventory reconciliation tasks when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience within the UAE preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and ledger management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, etc.).
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
