Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Accountant to join our Prometric Coaching Institute. The ideal candidate will handle the institute’s financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support management with timely financial insights. Candidates with prior experience in accounting will be given strong preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare and finalize accounts, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
• Handle fee collections, invoices, and receipts.
• Manage payroll, petty cash, and expense tracking.
• Coordinate with management for budgeting and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Liaise with auditors and support during audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
• Proven experience as an Accountant (experience in educational institutions will be an advantage).
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (Malayalam proficiency is a plus).
• High attention to detail and integrity in financial management.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
