Job Title: Accountant and controller
Location- Kota, Rajasthan

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant and Controller for a reputed school in Kota. The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the school’s financial health and administrative efficiency. Responsibilities include overseeing all financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements.
• Monitor and manage school budgets and expenditure
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial data integrity
• Reconcile school fee collection, receipts.
• Manage payroll for teaching and non-teaching staff
• Coordinate with auditors and prepare required documentation for audits
• Ensure timely payment of bills, taxes, and statutory dues (ESIC, PF, TDS, etc.)
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasting expenses
• Keep track of vendor payments, contracts, and school purchases
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial record

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in an educational setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel), as well as Google Suite.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
