- Financial reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Taxation: Manage tax filings and ensure the organization complies with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Auditing and compliance: Conduct internal audits, examine financial discrepancies, and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
- Financial analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making, forecast future revenue and expenses, and conduct variance analyses.
- Record keeping: Record all financial transactions, reconcile accounts (including bank statements), and maintain accurate ledgers and journals.
- Accounts management: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
