We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, and auditing processes, contributing to the organization’s financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Assist in both internal and external audits, providing documentation and necessary explanations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.
- Manage tax filings, statutory reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial and operational activities.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and data accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of budgeting, auditing, and financial planning processes.
Requirements
- Transferable residency (VISA 18 Regular).
- Age not more than 50 years old.
- Physically and mentally fit to perform accounting responsibilities.
- Proven track record in managing financial records and reporting.
