Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience: Minimum 1+ years of UAE Accounting Experience.

Salary: Range upto 7000aed per month.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hands-on experience in UAE financial accounting , with strong expertise in VAT filing, compliance , and solid exposure to corporate tax regulations. Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee daily accounting operations using QuickBooks.
• Prepare, review, and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
• Assist in implementing and managing corporate tax frameworks, including documentation and reporting.
• Analyse financial data and present actionable insights to management.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, ledgers, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with a logical and analytical approach.
• Stay updated on changes in UAE tax laws and accounting standards.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and corporate tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification in VAT or UAE Taxation is an advantage.
• Experience in financial reporting and budget forecasting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred.
