Position: Accountant

About Position: We are looking for Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance Department in Muscat, Oman

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum three to five years relevant experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Hands on experience working with General Ledgers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
• Proficient with EPR Systems (SAP or Oracle).
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, analysis and reconcile, General Ledger, Debtors, Creditors, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliations.
• Post Journal Entries for accrued expenses, recurring entries, and revenue, maintaining Fixed Assets and Depreciation, Amortization etc.
• Prepare and file local compliance reports as necessary (VAT).
• Oman Tax awareness would be an advantage (VAT, Corporate Tax, and Labor compliance like Pension, WPS etc.)
• Prepare MIS Reports, Inventories Reports and reconciliation, Internal Audit exposure.
• Act as a liaison for vendors and client to reconcile any billing discrepancies and payments, discounts rates etc.
• Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft programs especially the Excel.
• Well-presented, honest, ethical, and dependable.
• Batchelor’s and Master’s Degree in Accounts and Finance.
• Preference for immediate joiners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RO180.000 per month
