About The Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional with a strong background in financial management and compliance? We are hiring an experienced Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations, inventory accounting, and statutory compliance for a reputed diamond and jewelry trading business in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers
• Manage inventory accounting and perform regular stock reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and month-end/year-end closing
• Ensure VAT and tax compliance in accordance with UAE regulations
• Conduct and assist with internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with Kimberley Process and international trade standards
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and reports
• Draft professional correspondence and maintain confidentiality of financial data
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the diamond or jewelry industry
• Strong working knowledge of UAE tax laws, VAT, and financial regulations
• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, Oracle, or other major accounting software
• Excellent MS Excel and data analysis skills
• Strong English communication skills (written & verbal – non-negotiable)
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in the Middle East, ideally within Dubai, is mandatory

• Experience with ERP systems
• Familiarity with UAE customs and international trade protocols
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Young, energetic professional (preferably between 28–40 years old)
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or semi-qualified CA background preferred
