Role Overview
The Accounts Executive at Aarco Designers will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, ensuring smooth cash flow, and supporting the management with timely financial insights. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining financial discipline across the company's interior design and execution projects.
Key Responsibilities1. Daily Accounting Activities
- Record daily transactions including purchases, sales, expenses, and receipts.
- Maintain cash book, petty cash, and bank book accurately.
- Update all entries in accounting software / Excel regularly.
2. Billing & Documentation
- Prepare customer invoices, quotations, and receipts.
- Collect bills from factory, site, and office teams and update them in the accounts system.
- Verify vendor bills and ensure correctness before processing.
- Maintain digital and physical copies of all bills and vouchers.
3. Payment & Collections Management
- Track customer payments and send reminders for pending dues.
- Coordinate with suppliers for payment schedules.
- Monitor outstanding payments and report ageing to the management.
4. Bank Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Share cash-flow updates with the CEO and relevant departments.
5. Payroll & Employee Maintenance
- Assist in preparing monthly salary sheets.
- Maintain attendance records and staff expense reimbursements.
6. Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with the project, design, and factory teams for bill updates.
- Assist in GST filing, TDS, and other compliance-related documentation.
- Support the external auditor with records during audits.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and basic accounting software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- Experience in construction/interior design industry is an added advantage.
