Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our construction company. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in construction project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting. The role involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, verifying project expenses, preparing monthly reports, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Prepare project cost reports, cash flow statements, and monthly financial statements.
• Monitor and record expenses related to construction projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and site teams for accurate cost allocation.
• Manage petty cash, subcontractor payments, and supplier invoices.
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in a construction company (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of project costing, WBS, and construction workflows.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP, QuickBook)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
