Position Overview
We are hiring an Accountant with 5+ years of experience who can manage the full 360° accounting cycle for a multi-department operation.
This role requires strong experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred), accurate financial recording, and the ability to reconcile expenses, revenues, cash, POS, and bank statements across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
360° Accounting & ERP Work
- Maintain complete daily bookkeeping for all financial activities: revenues, expenses, salaries, petty cash, procurement, and operational costs.
- Enter, review, and verify all financial data in Odoo, ensuring correct account and cost-center allocation.
- Ensure clean, accurate, and audit-ready documentation at all times.
Reconciliations & Financial Accuracy
- Perform POS, cash, card, and online payment reconciliations for each department.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, internal reports, and Odoo records.
- Track and reconcile all expenses (operational, inventory, consumables, and departmental costs).
- Identify discrepancies and resolve them quickly.
VAT & Compliance
- Prepare accurate VAT calculations and maintain UAE-compliant documentation.
- Ensure all invoices, receipts, and entries adhere to VAT rules.
Payroll & Staff Accounting Support
- Work with HR to process payroll, attendance records, deductions, incentives, and end-of-service calculations.
- Post payroll entries correctly into Odoo.
Departmental & Management Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly department-wise revenue and expense reports (Spa, Salon, Kids, Fitness, Café, Boutique).
- Provide insights to management on cost control, variances, and spending patterns.
Controls, Audits & Processes
- Follow internal controls for expenditures, refunds, and financial approvals.
- Support external audits and monthly/annual closing procedures.
- Help refine and maintain finance-related SOPs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience in hospitality, wellness, retail, or multi-unit operations.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
- Strong experience in reconciliation: bank, POS, revenue, supplier, petty cash.
- Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and basic compliance.
- Excellent Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable.
- Fluent in English; strong communication and accuracy.
