Accountant

Accountant (CA/CPA) – Oil & Gas Trading Company, Dubai

An Oil & Gas trading company in Dubai is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team. The ideal candidate must be a CA or CPA holder (mandatory) with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience , preferably within the Oil & Gas or construction industry . The selected candidate must be available to join immediately .

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Handle reconciliations, financial entries, and month-end closing.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor payables, receivables, and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Coordinate with suppliers, auditors, and internal departments to ensure accurate financial documentation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Assist with cash flow reporting and financial planning activities.

Qualifications:

• CA or CPA certification (completed and mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience , preferably in the Oil & Gas or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Based in the UAE and available for immediate joining .
