Job Description – Accounts Executive
AccountantPosition: Accounts Executive / Accountant
Department: Accounts & Finance
Location: ML Acropolis mall, Sevok more, Siliguri
Job Overview

The Accounts Executive is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance team in smooth business operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Record daily sales, expenses, receipts, and payments.
  • Maintain books of accounts (Ledger, Cash Book, Journal Entries).
  • Prepare and update purchase, sales, and stock records.
  • Handle vendor payments and follow up on receivables.
  • Assist in preparing monthly salary statements (if required).
  • Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory calculations.
  • Prepare basic financial reports (MIS reports).
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and vendors.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and file management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting roles.
  • Good knowledge of Tally / Excel / Accounting software.
  • Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

For Senior Position

  • Age - 35 year+
  • Minimum - 7 years experience

For Executive Position

  • Minimum - 1.5 years experience
  • Tally Proficiency

Work Condition

  • Office-based role
  • May require monthly closing work
  • Coordination with internal and external teams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
