We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, with hands-on experience in financial management within the UAE. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE’s financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, and assist in VAT filings and other tax-related processes.
  • General Ledger Management: Manage general ledger entries, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management for decision-making.
  • Banking: Oversee banking transactions and handle bank reconciliations.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate salary disbursements in compliance with UAE labor laws.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of accounting experience in the UAE, with a deep understanding of local financial regulations and tax systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of UAE Laws: Familiarity with UAE VAT laws, labor laws, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in all financial documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
