Accountant

***MUST BE FROM THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Cost Accounting: Manage cost accounting functions, including product costing, inventory valuation, and monitoring of production costs in the beauty manufacturing process.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic decision-making.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts, ensuring that product costs and quantities align with financial records.

• Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, specifically within the UAE tax framework.

• Internal Controls & Auditing: Ensure effective internal controls are in place, assist with internal and external audits, and implement improvements as necessary.

• Financial Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to track and manage financial transactions and reports efficiently.

• VAT experience - Vat returns on exported goods and imported Raw Materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

• Experience in the Beauty Manufacturing Industry is required, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting role within this sector.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting, product costing, and inventory management in a manufacturing setting.

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Zoho books) and advanced Excel skills.

• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and tax laws specific to the UAE, including VAT and other local compliance requirements.

• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards related to beauty products (e.g., UAE regulations, FDA, GMP).

• Familiarity with ERP systems tailored to the manufacturing industry.
