Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. The role involves handling accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, tax filings, and supporting internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting

  • Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure ledger accuracy.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
  • Track and follow up on customer payments.
  • Prepare ageing reports and ensure timely collections.

3. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

4. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Generate MIS reports for management review.

5. Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support audits (internal, external, statutory) by providing required information.

6. Payroll Support (if applicable)

  • Assist in payroll processing and statutory deductions.
  • Maintain employee financial records.

7. Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.
  • Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,255.68 - ₹15,000.00 per month
