Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant who is proficient in accounting processes, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, ROC filings, bank reconciliation, billing, and must be proficient in Excel and Advanced Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and handle billing, invoices, and accounts receivable/payable.
• Perform bank reconciliation on a regular basis.
• Prepare, file, and review GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns).
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and TDS return filings.
• Assist in ROC compliance and filings as required.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely closing of monthly books.
• Prepare MIS reports and analyze financial data using Excel and Advanced Excel tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, HLOOKUP, conditional formatting, etc.).
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and ROC filings.
• Excellent command over Excel & Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency in bank reconciliation and billing.
• Good understanding of financial statements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or related field.
• Experience in accounting software (Tally / ERP / Zoho / Busy etc.) is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
