Accountant – Joinery Industry Experience Required

Innovative Home is seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in the Joinery or Interior Fit-Out industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all accounting functions related to project costing, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Maintain general ledger and perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports including P&L statements and balance sheets
• Monitor project costs, job orders, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting
• Control inventory and raw material costing specific to joinery projects
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and handle timely submissions
• Manage payroll processing and employee expense tracking
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Liaise with external auditors and support internal audit processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA is a plus)
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the Joinery, Fit-Out, or Interior Design industry
• Strong knowledge of project costing and job order tracking
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of UAE tax and labor laws
