Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager/Head of Accounting and is integral to the financial operations of Wizz Financial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Manager with various accounting and finance tasks.
- Evaluate the financial performance and objectives of the business.
- Provide financial and strategic insights to support the growth plans of the organization.
- Manage the implementation of systems, process improvements, and automation of processes.
- Work with state regulators to ensure compliance and support the registration process in new states as per the company’s strategic plan.
- Prepare reliable current and forecasted financial reports.
- Provide financial planning, modeling, and analysis.
- Manage cash flows and perform effective cash and working capital management.
- Support company audits and ensure legal compliance in all financial functions.
- Manage relationships with banks and vendors.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven experience as an accountant.
- Experience in a large cross-border funds movement environment.
- Successful track record in creating and setting up multi-currency financials.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Strong liquidity and working capital management skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong numerical skills.
- Willingness to take responsibility, show initiative, and work effectively within a dynamic team.
- Relevant BA degree and/or CPA certification is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
