Job Overview:

As an Accountant at United Feed Co., you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of the company. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data and will work closely with our finance team to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process employee payroll and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial activities
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role

- should have SOCPA certificate
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software 
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
