Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Accountant cum Store Incharge to manage both financial operations and store inventory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while also overseeing stock levels, inventory movement, and store documentation. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting transactions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely bank payments
  • Develop and manage budget forecasts
  • Compute taxes and assist with tax filings
  • Maintain balance sheets, income statements, and cash-flow reports
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies
  • Maintain financial data confidentiality and perform regular system backups

Store & Inventory Responsibilities

  • Manage overall store operations and maintain stock levels
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions
  • Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory ledgers
  • Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Monitor stock movements to avoid shortages or overstocking
  • Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of materials
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of inventory
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store area
  • Prepare store-related reports for management

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Accountant and/or Store Incharge (combined or separate roles)
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting
  • Hands-on experience with accounting and inventory management software
  • Good understanding of stock management, material issuance, and documentation
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage both accounting and store functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or a relevant field

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Professional certifications: B.Com, BS Accounting & Finance, or related
  • Experience in corporate, commercial, or warehouse/store environments
  • Familiarity with ERP or store management systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
