Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) background to manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the business with timely financial analysis. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in handling high-volume transactions, inventory accounting, and cost control within an FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per company standards.
  • Handle high-volume invoicing and ensure accuracy in billing, collections, and payments.
  • Maintain and reconcile inventory records, stock movements, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Coordinate with the warehouse, sales, and procurement teams to validate stock, pricing, and product costs.
  • Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and ensure timely posting of all transactions.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and other statutory filings (VAT return, corporate tax documentation, etc.).
  • Review supplier statements, process payments, and track outstanding balances.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits with required documentation.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Support management with financial reports, analysis, and insights to improve profitability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in the FMCG sector.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, costing, and FMCG accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems, SAP).
  • Excellent understanding of VAT and UAE tax regulations (if applicable).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle high-volume transactions and work under pressure.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in FMCG distribution or trading companies.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics accounting.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
