Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support management with accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle VAT filing and compliance in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
- Process owner statements and track revenue and expenses for each property.
- Monitor guest payments, booking revenues, commissions, and operational costs.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Liaise with auditors, external accountants, and management.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, real estate, or holiday homes.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Xero).
- Excellent Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
