Maintenance of all Incarcerated Person Trust Accounts includes daily operation of the computer software Trust Accounting and Canteen System (TRACS). Preparation of parole releases, receive releasing forms and request missing release forms from Records Department, confirm release dates if needed, print releasing forms daily as needed, monitor releases daily and weekly using Upcoming Release Date Reports. Complete release forms using information from the Incarcerated Person Trust Accounts. Complete the Incarcerated Person Release Listing form for each parole date. Request trust fund withdrawals for the releases from the Accountant Trainee. Request debit card activations and checks for paroles, holds, Patton State Hospital and Custody to Community Transitional Re-Entry Program (CCTRP) from Accounting Service Branch (ASB) in Bakersfield, California. Obtain activated debit cards from the Debit Card Custodian. Coordinate request for checks from the Check Custodians and obtain signatures from the authorized check signers. Contact Receiving and Release Department (R&R) to advise the releases are ready to pick up. Prepare transfer box with parole release paperwork and funds and transfer them to R&R staff. Receive signed releasing forms from R&R staff and contact them in case there are any discrepancies or signatures missing. Complete 27A Missing Signature Memorandum and have R&R staff or camp staff sign it as needed. Prepare reconciliation of debit cards released from CIW and camps and mail it to ASB in Bakersfield, California, via General Logistics Systems US, Inc., a parcel and freight delivery vendor. Receipt, log, and distribution of California Identification Cards and update the spreadsheet weekly. Receipt, log and distribution of Medi-Cal Cards and other Incarcerated Person property in the possession of the Accounting Department.

Candidates new to CDCR are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
