Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Sales Reports, Expense Reports, Customers Aging, Vendor Aging, Statement of Financial Performance, Statement of Financial Position, Cash Flows (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual & Annual) as per requirement
- Cost Accounting and Financial Management
- Financial Planning and Budgeting
- VAT preparation & filling
- Preparation of Audit Requirements
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Maintain physical files and records to document transactions
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls
- Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
- Managing the petty cash with their issuance and receipts
- Data Entry of Vouchers (Receipts, Journal Vouchers, Payment Vouchers etc.)
- Prepayments & Accruals etc.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Cost Accounting
- UAE VAT Procedures
- Experience in managing muliple trade licenses in the field of Manufacturing and Trading sector
- Import and Export Procedures
- Knowledge of arithmetic and their applications
- Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management
- Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good record keeping
- Ability to apply accounting principles and procedures to work assignments
- Excellent knowledge on Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Dynamic AX (ERP)
