Role Description

Huna Grand Hypermarket is expanding its Accounting & Warehouse Department and we’re looking for an experienced Accountant to take on a key role in managing accounts payable, inventory control, cash management, and storekeeping operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable: Manage invoice matching, reconciliations, and supplier payments
  • Inventory Accounting: Oversee inventory control, stock counts, discrepancy analysis, and reporting
  • Cash Control: Handle cash reconciliations, POS reports, and cashier deposits
  • Storekeeping: Manage stock receiving, issuance, and ERP-based inventory tracking

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role (preferably in retail or FMCG environments)
  • Proficiency in handling high-volume transactions and managing complex reconciliations
  • Experience with ERP systems, stock control, and inventory management
  • Strong understanding of IFRS/IAS, VAT, and corporate tax compliance
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts
  • Strong integrity, attention to detail, and teamwork skills

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in retail/hypermarket operations
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple functions (Accounts Payable, Inventory, Cash Control, and Storekeeping) effectively
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
