Job Title: Accountant – Trading & Forex Reconciliation

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Accountant to oversee financial reconciliation and reporting for our broking and forex trading operations, including arbitrage trading and MT5 platform activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of trading environments, financial instruments, and cross-border transaction accounting.

Key ResponsibilitiesReconciliation & Reporting

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of broking statements and forex transaction reports.
• Track and reconcile MT5 trading accounts, including deposits, withdrawals, and trade executions.
• Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for arbitrage and forex trading activities.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies across multiple trading platforms and broker statements.

Accounting & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all trading-related financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and relevant regulatory standards.
• Support audit processes by preparing and providing necessary financial documentation.

Analysis & Optimization

• Analyze trading performance and profitability across different strategies and instruments.
• Collaborate with traders and operations teams to streamline and optimize reconciliation workflows.
• Provide insights into cost structures, fees, and slippage affecting P&L performance.

System & Platform Management

• Work closely with the MT5 platform and other trading systems to extract, validate, and interpret financial data.
• Liaise with brokers and liquidity providers to resolve statement or transaction discrepancies.

Requirements

• CA Fresher, or
• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2–3 years of experience in financial reconciliation—preferably in forex, trading, or brokerage environments.
• Proficiency in MT5, Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of arbitrage trading, forex markets, and brokerage operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-currency accounting and cross-border transactions.
• Familiarity with trading APIs, data extraction, and automation tools.
• Knowledge of international financial regulations and reporting standards.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
