Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain daily accounting books (Cash, Bank, Ledger, Journals).
- Perform monthly closing activities & prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and financial reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, student fee ledgers, and vendor accounts.
- Prepare MIS reports for management decision-making.
Student Fee Management
- Manage student fee collection, invoicing, receipts, refunds & concessions.
- Monitor outstanding fee dues and send follow-ups/notifications.
- Maintain an accurate record of scholarships, grants, and waivers.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Assist in annual budgeting & forecasting.
- Track institutional expenses vs. budget & highlight variances.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and financial planning.
Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Process monthly payroll for teaching & non-teaching staff.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, TDS, GST, Professional Tax, etc.
- Maintain staff salary registers, leave encashment, gratuity records.
Vendor & Procurement Accounting
- Handle payment processing to suppliers, contractors & service providers.
- Verify purchase orders, bills, quotations & statutory documents.
- Maintain accurate vendor ledger and TDS deductions.
Audit Coordination
- Ensure books are audit-ready at all times.
- Support internal, statutory, and government audits.
- Maintain financial records as per education board/government requirements.
Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain records of school property, lab equipment, furniture, buses, etc.
- Support fixed asset verification and depreciation calculation.
- Track uniform/books/stationery stock where applicable.
ERP / Accounting Software
- Operate educational ERP or accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, School ERP, etc.)
- Ensure data backup, accuracy, and digital record maintenance.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
