Accounting and finance resource

Muhimma Digital is looking for an onsite Accounting & Financial resource based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role.

Salary Range: 7k – 9k Dirhams 

Responsibilities:
 

• Analyze business transactions, contracts, and developments to ensure appropriate accounting advice to senior management and evaluate subsequent recognition in financial statements
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for senior management and investors
• Preparation of budgets, identification of cost efficiency targets, control and monitor budget performance, and prepare detailed variance analysis
• Invoicing and receivables management in line with best practice to facilitate business and project cashflows
• Accounts payable and payments processing management in line with contracts and policies after accounting checks and validation
• Plan and manage audit requirements, liaison with auditors, and filing of audited financial statements
• Ensure accurate VAT accounting, compliance, and return filing
• Manage company's compliance and regulatory affairs and report to senior management and board of directors. These include but not limited to shareholders affairs, employment related issues, license renewals and others activities
• Clients and stakeholder liaison including but not limited to banking, insurance, & regulatory environments
• Review and evaluate contracts and transactions to ensure compliance and take advantage of
• favorable terms and positions
• Identification and communication of potential business and compliance risks to management and advise action
• Prepare bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and other reports for accounting an audit control
• Work with the relevant teams to enhance the quality of reporting and resolve issues
• Familiarity with DMCC documentation & procedures
