Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Junior Accountant to support the school’s accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, assist in financial reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and school policies.

Preference will be given to candidates who are alumni of CMS (City Montessori School), who understand the institution’s values and commitment to excellence.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance (fresh graduates with strong knowledge may also apply).

CMS alumni will be given preference.

Familiarity with school or institutional accounting processes (preferred)


Roles & Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions.

Prepare vouchers, receipts, and invoices, and ensure proper filing. Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.

Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash. Support fee collection, data entry, and ledger maintenance.

Assist in payroll processing and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, GST, etc.). Coordinate with the administration and management on financial matters. Handle queries related to accounts and billing efficiently.
