Job Overview:
We are seeking an Accountant with 2–6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of Indian and US accounting standards and possess excellent communication skills. This role requires expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), IGAAP, along with experience in cost center–based accounting, multicurrency accounting, and journal entries. The candidate should be comfortable working overtime when required to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance with Indian and US accounting standards.
• Handle AP & AR functions, including invoicing, reconciliations, and vendor payments.
• Perform cost center–based accounting and ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
• Manage multicurrency accounting, including FX adjustments and reconciliations.
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries; maintain integrity of the general ledger.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with IGAAP.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare financial statements, tax filings, and audit documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Work closely with the finance team to optimize cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain accuracy in financial record-keeping and process documentation.

Requirements:

• 2–6 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong expertise in Indian & US accounting principles.
• CA Inter qualification with a commerce background (mandatory).
• Proficiency in AP, AR, IGAAP, and financial reporting.
• Experience in cost center–based accounting.
• Knowledge of multicurrency accounting.
• Strong experience with journal entries and general ledger management.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Understanding of taxation, GST, TDS, and compliance frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹47,000.00 per month
