Position: Accounts Executive
Location: Manama, Bahrain
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support the Finance team with accurate record-keeping, reporting, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounting entries, reconciliations, and documentation
  • Maintain accurate financial records as per company policies and accounting standards
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and receipts
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
  • Support preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and analysis
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients on billing and payment matters
  • Follow up on outstanding payments
  • Assist in internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with Bahrain VAT rules and financial controls
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in Bahrain or GCC)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally / QuickBooks / ERP)
  • Good knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
