Position: Accounts Executive
Location: Manama, Bahrain
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager
We are looking for an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support the Finance team with accurate record-keeping, reporting, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting entries, reconciliations, and documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records as per company policies and accounting standards
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and receipts
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
- Support preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and analysis
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients on billing and payment matters
- Follow up on outstanding payments
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with Bahrain VAT rules and financial controls
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in Bahrain or GCC)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally / QuickBooks / ERP)
- Good knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
