Position Overview
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, financial record management, billing, reconciliations, payroll support, and compliance-related activities. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks while supporting the Accounts Team Lead in meeting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain and update accounting entries in Tally for assigned entities.
- Assist in GST-related documentation and monthly/quarterly reconciliations.
- Support TDS computations, deductions, and record management.
- Handle inter-company entries and basic reconciliations.
2. Billing, Invoicing & Vendor Management
- Prepare invoices, e-way bills, and assist with e-billing as required.
- Maintain and track vendor payments and miscellaneous payouts.
- Process employee reimbursements.
- Ensure timely record maintenance for software subscriptions and service renewals.
3. Payment Processing
- Assist with domestic and international payments (including PayPal and bank transfers).
- Track payment status and ensure proper documentation and filing.
4. Payroll Support
- Assist in payroll preparation and support incentive calculation documentation
- Maintain payroll-related files and ensure accuracy in employee records.
5. Reconciliations & Reporting
- Perform monthly reconciliations for:
- Vendor account
- GST (including 2B reconciliation)
- Sales platforms such as Shopify
- Support the accounts team in preparing P&L summaries and financial analysis inputs.
6. Store & Retail Accounting Assistance
- Review DSRs (Daily Sales Reports) from retail stores as required.
- Support POS system updates and coordination with store managers.
- Assist in periodic stock audits and variance reporting.
7. Documentation & SOP Compliance
- Maintain accounting files, vouchers, and documentation in audit-ready format
- Follow internal accounting policies, SOPs, and compliance guidelines.
8. Support to Accounts Team Lead
- Assist in task execution, reporting, and follow-ups.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and basic GST/TDS knowledge.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
