Position Summary

We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Manager – Accountant to oversee accounting operations, coordinate with auditors, and support management with financial insights and reports. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, compliance, and MIS reporting, with proficiency in Excel and Word. This role requires an individual who can effectively coordinate with internal accountants, manage statutory matters, and assist in management discussions related to accounts and other financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for audit schedules, reports, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and present MIS reports, financial statements, and management summaries.
  • Handle ROC (Registrar of Companies) matters in coordination with consultants.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure timely book closure, reconciliations, and statutory filings.
  • Participate in management discussions related to financial performance and other key activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Review and improve internal accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities as needed.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in managing audit coordination, ROC matters, and MIS preparation.

Preferred Background

  • 7+ years of experience in accounting, audit coordination, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in working with audit firms or corporate finance departments preferred.
  • Exposure to compliance and ROC-related documentation will be an advantage.
