Accounts Officer

Job Summary

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for supporting the daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments and receipts efficiently, and assisting the senior staff in documentation and basic financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Transaction Management: Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software (e.g., ERP).
• Receipts & Records: Prepare and record receipts, particularly for donations, and maintain meticulous supporting documents and donor details.
• Reporting Support: Assist in preparing basic financial summaries for monthly closing and support senior staff in compiling management financial reports.
• Documentation & Filing: Ensure proper organization, maintenance, and filing of all financial records, receipts, and donation documents.
• Team & Audit Support: Assist the finance team with the implementation of the Donation Module and ERP system, and provide necessary documents during internal and external audits.
• General Tasks: Perform any finance-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Educational Requirement: Bachelor of Commerce is Mandatory.
• Experience: Fresh Graduates to 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Essential: Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, ledgers, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency: Competence in MS Office, especially MS Excel (basic formulas).
• Advantage: Familiarity with accounting software/ERP systems will be an added benefit.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month
