Key Responsibilities (Your Role):
As our Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be crucial to managing our daily financial operations, focusing on accuracy and timeliness:
- Invoice Management: Process, verify, and review a high volume of accounts payable invoices and expense reports with exceptional precision.
- Payment Coordination: Manage daily payment activities, ensuring all disbursements are processed accurately and on time.
- Ledger Maintenance: Maintain general ledger accounts, post financial transactions, and process check requests, ensuring all proper invoice approvals are secured.
- Vendor Relations: Act as a key contact for vendors, responding promptly to inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining positive working partnerships.
- Administrative Support: Perform additional administrative and finance tasks as assigned to support the department’s goals.
What We’re Looking For (Required Skills):
- Experience: Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk (or similar role) with a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and AP principles.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, particularly using spreadsheets, and experience with ERP systems.
- Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy in managing accounting figures, financial records, and data entry.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and perform multiple duties concurrently with professionalism.
