Accounts Payable Specialist - Local Monterey Construction Company

Our well-established construction company, proudly building custom homes in the Monterey area for over 25 years, is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. We value teamwork, reliability, and strong communication, and we're looking for someone who will contribute positively to our long-standing reputation for quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices and payments
• Maintain vendor records and manage billing inquiries
• Assist with job costing and project-related accounting tasks
• Reconcile statements and support the accounting team as needed
• Collaborate with coworkers, subcontractors, and vendors in a professional manner

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Accounts Payable (construction experience a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency with Apple computers
• Proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel Word, and Adobe PDF tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay up to $65,000/year (DOE)
