Accounts Receivable Executive

About the Role

ETS is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Executive with strong experience in Odoo/ERP systems and advanced Excel. You will handle invoicing, collections, payment posting, and account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting and healthy cash flow.

Responsibilities Invoicing & Payments

• Generate and send accurate invoices and statements using Odoo or similar ERP platforms.
• Post daily customer payments and ensure proper allocation in the ERP system.
• Maintain and update financial records, including adjustments, credit memos, and tax-related details.
• Reconcile physical asset sales and shipments using ERP inventory modules.
• Perform AR ledger reconciliations using ERP reports and Excel analysis.

Collections & Account Management

• Monitor overdue invoices through ERP dashboards and AR aging reports.
• Follow up with customers by phone/email to ensure timely payments.
• Resolve discrepancies by coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.
• Manage credit limits and assist with new customer credit checks.
• Prepare weekly/monthly AR aging summaries using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

Reporting & Compliance

• Support month-end and year-end AR closing activities through ERP reporting tools.
• Prepare journal entries related to AR, including accruals and bad debt.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all collection activities in Odoo/ERP.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on AR or collections experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Odoo, ERP accounting modules, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting).
• Experience managing AR portfolios and reducing overdue receivables.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.

Preferred

• Experience in consumer electronics, logistics, or hardware distribution.
• Knowledge of international invoicing and foreign currency billing.
• AR-related certification (ARC or similar).
